Electric Motor Winder Motor Rewind Technician

Full-Time On-Site Relocation Assistance Available

We are seeking an experienced Electric Motor Winder / Motor Rewind Technician for an industrial motor repair operation in Corpus Christi TX. This position is for candidates with hands-on electric motor winding and rewinding experience not general manufacturing coil winding.

• Wind and rewind AC/DC electric motors
• Rewind stators armatures rotors and field coils
• Remove old windings and record winding data
• Form insert connect lace and insulate coils
• Perform random winding and/or form coil winding
• Test windings using megger surge and electrical testing equipment
• Work with VPI insulation systems and burnout/bake processes
• Inspect and troubleshoot motors during the rewind process
• Follow motor repair specifications safety procedures and quality standards

3 years of hands-on industrial electric motor winding/rewinding experience required.

Experience in an electric motor repair shop motor rewind shop electromechanical repair facility or rotating equipment service center strongly preferred.
