Job Summary
We are hiring experienced Electric Motor Winders / Motor Rewind Technicians in the Houston area who are willing to relocate to Corpus Christi Texas. This position requires actual hands-on industrial electric motor winding/rewinding experience not general manufacturing coil winding.
Relocation & Incentives
- Up to $3000 relocation reimbursement
- $1950 housing assistance
- $1000 Day 1 sign-on bonus
- $1500 after 90 days
- $1500 after 180 days
Pay: $24$34/hour DOE
What Youll Do
- Wind and rewind AC/DC electric motors
- Rewind stators armatures rotors and field coils
- Strip old windings and accurately record winding data
- Form insert connect lace and insulate copper coils
- Perform random winding and/or form coil winding
- Perform Megger surge and electrical testing
- Work with VPI insulation systems and burnout/bake processes
- Inspect troubleshoot repair and reassemble industrial electric motors
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial electric motor winding/rewinding experience
- Motor repair shop rewind shop electromechanical repair or rotating equipment experience preferred
- Must be willing to relocate from Houston to Corpus Christi TX
