TITLE OF POSITION: English Language Arts (ELA)

Otsego Middle School

STARTING DATE: 2026-27 School Year

CLOSING DATE: August 13 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

Otsego Public Schools staff is the heart of the district and we are looking to add an ELA teacher to our middle school staff.

Primary tasks (non-exhaustive list):

• Plan lessons and prepare class materials and homework assignments to meet class objectives.
• Gather the appropriate materials and equipment to address the goals and objectives.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and resources consistent with parameters of the educational environment and the needs and limitations of the students involved.

Requirements:

• Valid English (BA/BV/BX)
• Some teaching experience strongly preferred
• Training in Lucy Caulkins Units of Study preferred
• Candidates with an additional subject area endorsements strongly preferred
