Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 11:00 AM 11:30 PM
Travel Pay: From $1700/Week
We are seeking an experienced EKG Certified Phlebotomist / Cardiology Diagnostic Technician to join a fast-paced clinical environment. This role involves performing non-invasive cardiac testing specimen collection and supporting high-quality patient care in an emergency room setting.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently managing multiple tasks and handling high patient volumes efficiently.
- Perform cardiac diagnostic procedures including:
- EKGs
- Holter monitor setup and monitoring
- Stress testing support
- Draw blood and collect specimens following proper identification protocols
- Complete documentation test orders and billing-related information accurately
- Assist clinical staff with specimen collection and diagnostic requirements
- Maintain clean organized and compliant workspaces
- Follow PPE guidelines and hospital safety protocols
- Support training and guidance for staff or students as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification (PBT) Required
- EKG Certification Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
- Prior experience working in an Emergency Room setting Required
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Emergency room / clinical setting
- High-volume fast-paced patient care environment
- Requires adherence to strict safety and compliance protocols
