Were looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to join a growing industrial operation where youll play a key leadership role in driving safety reliability and operational performance.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges mentoring technicians and making a direct impact on production and plant reliability.
Position Overview
The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems. This position provides technical guidance to E&I personnel while ensuring all work is completed safely efficiently and in compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise E&I technicians and personnel in daily operations and project activities.
Assign tasks monitor productivity and ensure work is completed according to schedules and quality expectations.
Provide training coaching and performance feedback to team members.
Coordinate activities with other departments and supervisors to support operational goals.
Oversee conduit installation wiring instrumentation tubing piping and equipment installation in accordance with company standards UL requirements and NEC codes.
Interpret blueprints electrical schematics P&IDs and technical specifications to direct field activities.
Ensure proper installation calibration termination and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex electrical and instrumentation issues.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation systems.
Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures equipment performance and operational efficiency.
Monitor equipment reliability and assist in minimizing downtime.
Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with OSHA NEC IEEE and other applicable regulations and standards.
Conduct risk assessments and maintain a safe work environment for employees and contractors.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Associate degree from an accredited technical school or college preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in electrical systems instrumentation automation or related technical fields.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of electrical systems instrumentation automation and industrial maintenance practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics technical drawings and specifications.
Working knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
