ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY (EHS&S) COORDINATOR

OVERVIEW
The Environmental Health SafetyandSustainability (EHS&S) Coordinatorsupportsthe Global DirectorofQualityinateam-contributorroleto leadRochester SensorsDallasoverallEHS&Scompliancerequirements.The EHS&Sroleensures the plantsproducts processesanddocumentation meetthecompanysandcustomersISO14001EnvironmentalManagementSystem requirementsandEHS&Sgovernmental regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadstheimplementationcompliancemonitoringauditing changemanagementandreportingofthefollowing not limitedto:
- Leadandmaintain the Health& SafetyManagementSystemincludingpolicies proceduresand complianceprograms
- Oversee incident investigationsemergencyresponse programsandOSHAreporting requirements
- Ensurecompliancewith chemical safetyhazardouswastehandlingLockout/Tagout(LOTO) electrical safety andmachinesafeguardingstandards
- Conduct Job Hazard Analyses(JHA) enforcePPE useandmanage industrialhygieneand ergonomics initiatives
- Administersafetyprograms forpowered industrial truckscontractors and visitors
- Developanddeliversafety training programstopromote a safe work environment
- Ensurecompliancewithspecialized safetyrequirements
- Manage ISO 14001 Environmental ManagementSystem including policies proceduresand audits
- Overseeenvironmental programs relatedtowaste (solidandhazardous)water/wastewater and air emissions
- Ensureregulatorycompliancereportinginspectionsandrisk mitigation
- Support ESG and sustainability initiatives including SDRS reporting and resource conservation efforts
- Promotesocialresponsibilitythroughcommunity engagement charitableinitiativesandcorporate sustainabilityprograms
- Supportproduct andsupplier compliance with environmentalregulations (e.g. RoHS REACHConflictMinerals TSCA)incollaborationwithQualityandSupply Chain
- Contribute toResponsible Business Alliance (RBA) initiatives and new product introduction (NPI) compliance
- Lead internal andexternal auditsincluding third-partycertificationreadinessand corrective action closure
- Conduct management reviewsand site auditstoensure continuousimprovement
- Implementcorrective and preventiveactionsandverify effectiveness
- Performadditionaldutiesas assignedbytheGlobalDirectorofQuality
- 1-3years of experience in EHS Sustainabilityor arelated role inamanufacturingorregulatedenvironment
- Working knowledge of OSHAEPAand applicable environmental and safety regulations
- Experience supporting EHS programs audits incident investigations and compliance activities
- Familiarity withISO14001 Environmental Management Systemsand auditparticipation
- Ability to collaboratecross-functionally withoperationsengineeringqualityandleadership teams
- Experience with safety training employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
- Exposure to sustainability efforts (e.g. waste energy or emissions management)
- Strong organizational documentation and data analysis skills
- Bachelors degreeinEnvironmental Health&Safety Environmental Science Occupational SafetyEngineeringor arelated field (orequivalent experience).
PREFERREDEXPERIENCE
- ISO 14001Environmental ManagementSystemimplementationexperience.
- Certified in Certified Hazardous Materials Certified Safety Professional or ISO 14001 Internal Auditor
