EHS Technician II (12 HR Nights Shift D)
Job Summary

As an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician you will support the implementation and maintenance of environmental health and safety programs that promote a safe compliant and environmentally responsible workplace. You will assist in monitoring EHS activities conducting inspections supporting investigations and helping ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Support the day-to-day administration and monitoring of Environmental Health & Safety programs policies and procedures.
- Assist with accident reporting incident investigations hazard assessments and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Compile and maintain safety metrics reports and records.
- Conduct periodic EHS inspections audits and assessments to identify workplace hazards and compliance gaps.
- Assist in evaluating environmental health and safety risks throughout the facility.
- Recommend improvements and corrective actions to ensure compliance with OSHA EPA and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support employee awareness and engagement initiatives related to workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records required by regulatory agencies and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement of EHS programs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety Occupational Safety Environmental Science or a related field preferred.
- 13 years of experience supporting Environmental Health & Safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of environmental health and safety principles and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to employees management customers and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify problems gather and analyze data and develop practical solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based operating systems.
- Ability to learn and utilize Jabil systems and software applications.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to read understand and interpret instructions procedures visual aids and technical information.
- Basic mathematical skills including the ability to calculate percentages ratios and interpret charts and graphs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting OSHA EPA and other regulatory compliance programs.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and environmental management systems.
- Professional certifications such as OSHA 30 ASP or related EHS credentials are a plus.
