KPS Global is a privately held company owned by the Viessmann Generations Group with more than 850 employees. We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor to join the EHS Team.
The EHS Supervisor is responsible for leading daytoday Environmental Health and Safety activities to ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations as well as company policies and standards. This role provides hands-on leadership oversight of safety programs incident response and ongoing training to support a safe and compliant workplace. The EHS Supervisor partners closely with operations leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety culture and environmental performance.
Required Skills
Safety & Health
- Implement and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs policies and procedures as part of the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Conduct regular facility inspections hazard assessments and job safety analyses (JSAs)
- Lead and/or support incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective action tracking
- Coordinates with outside agency services for health and safety training education and government compliance regulations
- Manage and track leading/lagging safety performance metrics
- Provide coaching and support to supervisors and frontline employees to reinforce safe behaviors
- Oversee the PPE program and ensure proper selection use and maintenance of protective equipment
- Coordinate emergency preparedness evacuation drills and severe weather response
Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable EPA and state environmental regulations
- Support air water waste and hazardous materials management programs
- Maintain environmental records permits manifests and required regulatory documentation in accordance with ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct inspections related to spill prevention waste storage and pollution prevention practices
- Assist with environmental reporting such as Tier II TRI and waste generation logs as applicable
Training
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs (e.g. lockout/tagout hazard communication equipment safety ergonomics)
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure all personnel meet required competencies
- Support onboarding orientations for new hires and contractors
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead safety committees toolbox talks and employee engagement initiatives
- Participate in audits and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing risk improving compliance and enhancing safety culture
