Electronic Health Record Documentation Support Specialist

• Assist clinical and non-clinical staff with navigating and using EHR software effectively and efficiently
• Provide scribing for providers when requested.
• Collaborate with users to optimize EHR workflows and documentation practices.
• Respond to end-user inquiries resolve issues and troubleshoot software or user-related problems promptly.
• Conduct training and contribute to the development of training materials to support end-users in effectively utilizing the EHR system.
• Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and resolve system-related issues.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Prior experience working with EHR systems and other health information systems - Required
• Epic EHR experience.
• Medical scribe experience.
• Bachelors degree in Health Informatics Healthcare Administration Computer Science or a related field (or other equivalent work experience)
• Professional demeanor.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with common software applications and the ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and interact effectively with end users.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to audiences with various levels of computer knowledge.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask prioritize responsibilities and manage competing demands.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
