By integrating physical and behavioral health we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health fostering resilience and facilitating Electronic Health Records (EHR) department is integral to our operations ensuring that all electronic health record systems function optimally and that all users receive the necessary training and support. As a fast-paced service-oriented department we aim to empower all programs in delivering the best possible client EHR Billing Specialist I is responsible for working with the rest of the EHR Billing Team and the Fiscal Department to support billing processes and data management. This position will take lead in problem-solving around reconciliation and billing issues in the electronic health records (EHR) billing system. Key responsibilities include data entry from Welligent to the County systems running billing reports to support reconciliation and acting as a support agent for the help desk. The EHR Billing Specialist I will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes contributing to the financial health and operational effectiveness of the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple RESPONSIBILITIESBilling:Data Entry: Perform data entry from Welligent to the County systems to ensure accurate and timely Reports: Run billing reports to support the reconciliation process ensuring data accuracy and Desk Support: Act as a support agent for the help desk addressing and resolving billing inquiries and and Cooperation: Communicate and cooperate with EHR and fiscal teams to troubleshoot reconciliation and billing : Attend and participate in department inter-team and agency meetings as : Other duties as assignedProcess: Problem-Solving Skills: Utilize problem-solving skills to create more efficient stable systems for setting up monitoring and rectifying EHR : Assist the Lead EHR Billing Analyst and the Billing Manager in implementing billing systems for new programs or funding : Relationships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with fiscal and clinical Philosophy and Mission: Incorporate agency philosophy and mission in all aspects of job : Maintain confidentiality regarding clients families and operations of the agency in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part : Exercise good judgment in the performance of duties and other duties as Experience or CertificationHigh school diploma or equivalent :Some experience working in EHR (Welligent and/or other County systems).Some college or AS/AA or BS/BA in extended Microsoft ecosystem (Office 365).Previous non-profit behavioral/mental healthcare agency of HIPAA and CFR 42 understanding of electronic billing systems and EHR operationsKnowledge and SkillsHigh degree of accuracy speed and attention to to multitask on projects and daily tasks while maintaining effective to successfully to work efficiently and productively in an independent verbal written and interpersonal to handle sensitive information in a confidential to learn and eagerness to elevate the efficiency of the department and agency.
