EERC Facility Assistant

• $14.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 20 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

• Computer aided drafting focused on process piping electrical control systems and related mechanical and building drawings
• Working with environmental and alternative energy researchers engineers laboratory process and facility technicians
• Identifying and labeling piping ventilation and electrical systems (may include some painting to identify pipes)
• Other related duties as assigned

• AutoCAD or similar drawing software experience with capability of learning AutoCad by utilizing understanding of other drafting software as a basis
• Able to stand 3-4 hours at a time
• Can move 45-50 pounds
• The ability to understand and complete required training for the job classification
• Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

• Strong AutoCAD or similar design/drafting software experience and Excel and Word.
• Able to understand pipe sizes and piping components such as valves and regulators.
