EEG Technician Travel Assignment

Location: Anchorage Alaska
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 3x12 Variable Shifts

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of EEG Technician experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Current REEGT Certification required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Experience with acute care hospital settings preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine continuous and specialized EEG procedures according to established protocols
• Monitor and record brain activity for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients and equipment for EEG testing
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams regarding patient care and diagnostic findings
• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety standards

Additional Details:

• Shared on-call responsibilities including approximately one weekend per month
• No floating required outside the designated scope of practice
• Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week pay period

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a trauma or acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
• Strong communication organizational and patient-care skills
