EECS Patent Attorney

A highly touted and established law firm seeks a Patent Attorney Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its expanding patent group. The firm partners with leading global technology companies to position and protect innovation in fields ranging from hardware to software matters.

This is a dynamic opportunity to work in a collaborative innovative team environment on high-level patent matters including prosecution client counseling and standards-related technologies.

• Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications
  

• Draft responses to Office Actions and conduct Examiner interviews
  

• Perform prior art freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses
  

• Collaborate with inventors in-house counsel and technical teams
  

• Participate in strategic portfolio development and post-grant counseling
  

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

• Wireless telecommunications systems and communication networks
  

• Electrical hardware and computer software
  

• Generative AI and Machine Learning
  

• Networks data storage and databases
  

• Semiconductors circuits memory and storage devices
  

• Cloud computing cybersecurity and data security
  

• Consumer electronics.
  

• Expected salary range: $235000 $305000 depending on the responsibilities of the position and the experience education and skills of the candidate
