Devereux Georgia provides programs and services for adolescents impacted by trauma behavioral health challenges and commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC). Located in Hampton Georgia this position is responsible for coordinating all educational services for youth participating in virtual learning ensuring academic progress educational compliance and collaboration between schools families residential staff and community partners. The Education Coordinator provides trauma-informed educational support while advocating for student success and educational stability.

Education and Experience:
- Have a Bachelors Degree in Education Educational Leadership Special Education Social Work Psychology Human Services or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Hold a valid Administrative Certification Educational Leadership Certification or Special Education Certification; Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification preferred.
- Have a minimum of five years of experience working with disadvantaged at-risk or vulnerable youth in educational residential treatment foster care behavioral health or community-based settings.
- Demonstrate knowledge of IEP and 504 processes virtual learning platforms and educational advocacy.
- Possess strong collaboration communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with schools families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Have experience supporting youth impacted by trauma behavioral health challenges or commercial sexual exploitation preferred.
- Maintain a valid drivers license and be able to meet all Devereux background health and training requirements.
