Team Overview

Our Product team leads the direction coordination output quality and enhancements to PowerSchools product portfolio. This dynamic multi-functional team ensures the effective rollout of new products across the platform packages and positions products to appeal to consumers and helps set the future direction and pace of innovation in our organization.

Responsibilities

Description

    • Research and share knowledge of state national and global academic standards specifically NGSS
    • Work collaboratively with assessment specialists and item writers toprovidedetailed andtimelyfeedback forcontent creation based upon best practices for assessment item development
    • Develop follow and/or deliver item/assessment development plans aligned to state and national academicstandards
    • Complete bias and sensitivity reviews
    • Assess andmaintaincontent developed by PowerSchool and/or third parties
    • Develop and deliver content-related professional development to staff and clients (asdeemednecessary)
    • Respond to client inquiries comments and suggestions
    • Participatein professional development activities
    • Complete other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1 year or less of relevant and related work experience.

Bachelors or Masters Degree in K-12 education preferred

Sound knowledge of assessment item development

Strong familiarity with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)

Thorough understanding of Blooms Taxonomy and Webbs DOK

Understanding of instructional and assessment processes

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency general computer literacy

Able to cope with strict time management requirements

Able to work cohesively with a team

Able to follow and complete directives in a timely manner

Able to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects simultaneously

Self-evaluation and motivation tendencies toward expanded growth and quality control

Travel occasionally up to 10% for key moments such as team summits training customer meetings company events etc. with increased frequency during peak periods based on business demands.

Preferred Qualifications

2-5 years experience teaching science and/or developing science assessments

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $66300 - $90100 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicants skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures degrees and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
