As an Educational Aide youll work alongside teachers and school staff to provide individualized support encourage positive social interactions and help create a safe engaging and inclusive learning environment. Every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What Youll Do

• Support students in achieving their greatest potential developing independence making successful transitions and building positive relationships with their peers.
• Provide individualized assistance under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Encourage independence while supporting students academic behavioral and daily living needs.
• Assist with classroom activities and instructional support.
• Help maintain a safe welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers therapists and other educational professionals to support student success.
• Transport students when needed after obtaining the required certification.

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit or the ability to obtain one before employment.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
• Valid Ohio drivers license.
• Ability to obtain Van Driver Certification within six (6) weeks of employment.
• Ability to obtain ParaPro/ESEA Certification within six (6) weeks of employment.
• Background in sports medicine or exercise science is a plus but not required.
• Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
• A caring attitude patience flexibility and a genuine desire to help students succeed.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary Range: $17.75 $20.59 per hour
• Schedule: Up to 29 hours per week
• Work Days: Monday through Friday
