Job Summary

Leading EDM job shop is seeking a full time experienced operator of Agie and/or Makino machines. Candidate must have a minimum 5 years experience with set-ups operation and inspection of parts. Knowledge of general machining practices (mill lathe grinders etc.) is a plus. Must be capable of reading and understanding blueprints and speak fluent English.

Role Description:

Program set up and operate EDM machines
Inspect parts produced
Perform routine machine maintenance
Enter programs and all necessary parameters into machine control
Clean and preventative maintenance of machines

Qualifications

5 Year minimum experience in operating Wire EDM machines with knowledge of machining processes.
Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
Ability to use precision tools such as micrometers and gauges for quality inspection.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
