EDI Clerk (Shipping Dock Clerk)

Lakeside Book Company is looking for a Shipping EDI Clerk to join our team! Shipping EDI Clerks manages the stretch wrap operation attach identifying tags or labels to materials or containers perform data entry consolidate loads and my at times operate a forklift. Good knowledge of the shipping layout item identification codes and basic shipping procedures is a must. We will provide you with all the training you need to be Rate:$19.15/hourHours: 12 Hours Monday-Wednesday and every other Thursday 6p-6aLocation: 2347 Kratzer Rd; Harrisonburg VA 22802 and 1025 Willow Springs Rd; Harrisonburg VA 22801As an EDI Clerk you will:Manage the operation of stretch wrapping identifying tags or labels to loads. Attach the container labels on the outside of the for verifying load counts and making the necessary COMN system jobs on a pallet if customer damaged in the stretch wrapper area. Need to maintain housekeeping around and under thestretch :Experience using shrink-wrap and strapping equipment powered lift equipment strapping and stretchwrapping tools and equipment may require skill in operating/using forklift tolift up to 50 poundsAbility tostand or sit for the entire duration of your shiftAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAt Lakeside Book Company we value craftsmanship and collaboration by encouraging employees to improve their skills and capabilities.
