Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our ED Tech you will provide crucial support and direct patient care in the fast-paced Emergency Department ensuring efficient operations and compassionate assistance during critical moments.

Every day you will expertly assist with patient admissions and discharges perform vital signs and basic medical procedures maintain a clean and organized environment and meticulously document observations to support the nursing staff and physician team.

To be successful you will demonstrate outstanding adaptability strong communication skills and a calm proactive demeanor contributing significantly to timely patient care and a smooth-running ED.

  • Assessment/Planning
  • Takes vital signs height and weight. Records on appropriate charting form
  • Reports observations regarding patients status to the registered nurse. Identifies and responds to urgent/emergent situations.
  • Assists in patient admission transfer or discharge
  • Moves lifts ambulates and transports patients safely.
  • Assists physicians and nursing staff with assigned procedures
Job Requirements

  • Current CNA EMT or valid ParamedicLicense.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant: CA upon hire
  • Emergency Medical Technician: CA upon hire
  • Orthopaedic Technologist Certified upon hire
  • Orthopedic Technologist Registered upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR within 30 Days


Preferred

  • Acute Care experience preferred upon hire
