The Economics Department is seeking a detail-oriented creative and proactive student to join our team as a Work-Study Administrative & Research Assistant. This role provides hands-on experience supporting department operations through a variety of tasks involving design data organization research and general administrative support.Department: Economics
Location: Lippman Hall 212/221
Supervisor: Susie Saleem
Work Available: Days
Rate of Pay: $ 9.70/hr

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Create flyers and digital materials using Canva for department events and announcements
Track inventory and organize supply data using Excel and Google Sheets
Research vendors obtain price quotes and assist with purchase documentation
Complete print jobs and distribute promotional materials across campus
Provide general administrative support including errands and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Canva Excel and Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Drive)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
Reliable professional and punctual with strong communication skills
Experience with Drupal or other content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
Familiar with social media best practices and media content creation is a plus.
