How youll contribute

AnEchosonographerwho excels in this role:

• Performs or is willing to learn all procedures associated with cardiac sonography i.e. Echo Stress Echo and Transesophageal Echo.

• Performs all paperwork associated with the Diagnostic Imaging department.

• Follows all radiology policies and procedures.

• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served in Diagnostic Imaging.

What were looking for

Applicants should have post high school training and/or education and be a graduate of an approved Echocardiography program.

Additional requirements include:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registry eligible.

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). Must be registered within two (2) years of start date.

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Echocardiography Stress echo and Transesophageal technology preferred.

• Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of patients served in Diagnostic Imaging.

Hourly range:$36.55-$47.21 per hour.
