Echocardiographic Technician

description:

Performs ultrasound technical duties for imaging heart muscle and functions. Creates images of the heart cardiac chambers valves and vessels for the purpose of assessing heart functions and diagnoses. Collaborates closely with cardiologists performing the technical aspects of examinations evaluating findings and reporting them to cardiologists.

Day Shift 40 hrs week 0700-1730 must have CCI or ADRMS. Must have 1 year experience in hospital or clinical and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors): PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Currently certified or eligible to be certified with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): RequiredEchocardiography (ECG) certification: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificationorBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
