Job Title: Echocardiograph Technician

Location: Rockwall TX
Duration: 15 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Shift: Day Shift 5x8-Hour Shifts

Compensation: $1760 - $2160 Weekly (Based on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiograph Technician to join a busy outpatient cardiology team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of non-invasive cardiac and vascular diagnostic procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care and high-quality imaging standards. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and stress echocardiography procedures according to established protocols.
• Conduct vascular studies including carotid ultrasound lower arterial studies lower venous studies ankle-brachial index (ABI) and abdominal aorta examinations as needed.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining examinations and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Accurately document findings and ensure timely completion of study reports.
• Collaborate with cardiologists physicians and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards infection control procedures and departmental policies.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance concerns as needed.
• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Support workflow needs across multiple outpatient clinic locations as assigned.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.

Certifications & Licensure

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
• Additional vascular credentials preferred.

• Minimum one (1) year of recent outpatient clinic experience within the last three years.
• Experience performing echocardiograms and stress echocardiography studies.
• Experience with vascular imaging studies preferred including:
  • Carotid Ultrasound
  • Lower Extremity Arterial Studies
  • Lower Extremity Venous Studies
  • Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI)
  • Abdominal Aorta Imaging
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy physiology and ultrasound imaging principles.

• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with electronic medical records and cardiovascular imaging systems.
• Adaptability to support multiple clinic locations when needed.
