Position Summary

Ninety percent of a childs brain development happens before the age of 5 and were on a mission to help our youngest learners start strong!

Join Early Learning Corps as an Early Learning Tutor and youll spend your days in a pre-kindergarten classroom to help students build skills and confidence. Well train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!

How does it work Partnering with a teacher youll help enhance learning. Whether talking reading writing singing or playing with students youll be helping them to build early literacy and math the extra attention and support youll make an incredible impact and help ignite a love of learning!

Core Responsibilities

  • Be a caring adult whos focused on helping students thrive
  • Support preschoolers with learning activities thoughout the day
  • Track student progress and meet regularly with the schools on-site coach
  • Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software
  • Commit to your own growth through coaching and training
  • Share your experience with community

Essential Qualifications

By the time you begin your services with Early Learning Corps you should be:

  • Dependable and have a history of good attendance
  • Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
  • Fluent in English for speaking reading and writing
  • 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A citizen national or lawful permanent resident of the United States
  • Able to successfully complete a background check

Schedule

We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school run August 2026-June 2027.

  • 35 hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)
  • Daytime hours (correspond with school start and end times)
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Time off on holidays and school release days

Part-time positions are also available at 25 hours per week!
