St. John the Baptist Parish Schools is seeking a qualified Early College Option Instructor to support high school students enrolled in dual-credit or early-college programs that provide the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously. This role bridges secondary and postsecondary education by delivering rigorous college-aligned instruction while guiding students through the academic social and organizational demands of dual enrollment. The ECO Instructor collaborates with high school administrators college partners and academic advisors to ensure curriculum alignment student readiness and program integrity. They help students successfully navigate college expectations develop critical thinking skills and maintain academic progress toward both graduation and degree completion.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate (L1 or its equivalent) or licensure in the appropriate subject area
• Masters degree in the content area or a related field
• Experience teaching advanced coursework
• 3-4 years of successful classroom teaching experience (secondary level)
• Eligibility to teach dual enrollment/dual credit courses under state and partnering college guidelines
