Position Summary

The Mott Middle College/Genesee Early College Teacher is responsible for leading the instructional program and implementing activities for high school students. The teacher serves as an instructional and decision-making member of the Early College team and is responsible for meeting the unique needs of students in the assigned area.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• Valid Michigan secondary teacher certificate with an endorsement to teach subject area.
• Must meet requirements for highly qualified teacher as specified in No Child Left Behind.
• Masters degree in content area preferred.
• Three or more years of successful teaching experience with diverse underserved high school students preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:$46600.00 - $90934.00 annually commensurate with experience and qualifications

Work Schedule: 187 days / 7 hours daily

Paid Time Off:

• Sick days - 10
• Personal Business days - 3
• Bereavement Leave
