Role Summary
Supports the design development and modernization of learning experiences across the organizations learning ecosystem. This role focuses on building scalable learner-centered experiences including branching and personalized pathways while enhancing live learning materials and overall content quality. Designs with modular learning architecture in mind and produces content compatible with SCORM and xAPI environments. Operates within an AI-enabled workflow to accelerate development and improve the learner experience. Reports to the Director of Learning Strategy & AI Enablement.

Will work 20 hours a week for approximately 6 months from home office. Must have at least 2 hours a week of availability between 11 AM and 5 PM CST for meetings.

Key Responsibilities

eLearning Experience Design (Branching & Personalization Focus)
Designs and builds digital learning experiences that incorporate branching logic scenario-based learning and personalized pathways. Structures content to support adaptability across different learner needs and contexts.


Modular Learning Architecture
Develops content using modular design principles to enable reuse scalability and flexibility across programs and delivery formats.


SCORM & xAPI Content Development
Prepares and produces learning content for delivery within SCORM and/or xAPI environments with an understanding of packaging tracking and learner experience considerations.


Content Transformation & Modernization
Transforms existing content (documents decks outlines) into clear engaging and usable learning experiences. Improves structure flow and usability across formats.


Presentation Design & Workshop Assets
Develops and modernizes PowerPoint materials for live workshops ensuring clarity visual consistency and alignment with the overall learning experience.


AI-Enabled Content Development
Leverages AI tools to accelerate content creation iteration and refinement applying sound judgment to maintain quality and accuracy.


Production & Build Execution
Executes against defined priorities delivering high-quality learning assets efficiently and with attention to detail.


Design Standards & Consistency
Applies established instructional design and visual standards to ensure a cohesive and modern learner experience across all materials.

Scope and Role Clarity
This role is focused on learning experience design and content development. It does not include responsibilities related to coaching participant management or program delivery operations.

Required Capabilities (Must-Have)

AI-Enabled Workflow
Demonstrated practical use of AI tools to support content creation structuring and iteration. Able to articulate how AI is integrated into day-to-day work beyond basic prompting or editing.


Branching and Personalization Design Experience
Proven experience designing learning experiences that incorporate branching logic scenario-based pathways or personalized learning flows. Able to structure content that adapts to different learner inputs and contexts.

Preferred Capabilities
  • Experience with modular learning design and content reuse strategies
  • Working knowledge of SCORM and/or xAPI environments
  • Experience modernizing or refreshing existing learning content
  • Strong presentation design skills (PowerPoint or equivalent)
