Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is hiring for a Mid-Level or Senior E-7 Manufacturing Planner Engineer in Tukwila Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Gather and define system-level requirements for Parts Plans and Tools

  • Support design reviews analyses simulations and component/ system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations

  • Support troubleshooting of delivered product operational / service anomalies and incidents

  • Participate in new business development efforts

  • Lead functional test integration for Manufacturing Engineering

  • Execute cross-functional process and systems integration projects

  • Work under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Level 4: 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Experience planning in manufacturing execution systems (MES)

  • Experience in using ENOVIA / CATIA

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

  • BDS Manufacturing Engineering experience

  • Experience using Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)

  • Functional Test experience

  • Prior experience successfully implementing process and systems integration projects

  • Development program experience

  • Proactive communication skillset

Mid-Level (Level 3) Summary pay range: $111350 - $150650

Senior (Level 4) Summary pay range: $135150 - $182850
