• Provide comprehensive medical surgical and preventive care
• Perform physical examinations diagnostics and treatment planning
• Perform routine surgical procedures and support ongoing patient care
• Communicate diagnoses treatment recommendations and preventive care plans to clients
• Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets
• Collaborate effectively with veterinarians technicians and support staff
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Continue developing clinical knowledge and skills through mentorship and continuing education

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
• Active veterinary state license
• DEA license preferred or ability to obtain
• USDA accreditation preferred or ability to obtain
• Experience with general medicine and basic surgery
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
