A well-established veterinary practice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who values quality patient care professional growth and a supportive practice environment.
- Provide comprehensive medical surgical and preventive care
- Perform physical examinations diagnostics and treatment planning
- Perform routine surgical procedures and support ongoing patient care
- Communicate diagnoses treatment recommendations and preventive care plans to clients
- Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets
- Collaborate effectively with veterinarians technicians and support staff
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Continue developing clinical knowledge and skills through mentorship and continuing education
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented practice culture
- DVM/VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
- Active veterinary state license
- DEA license preferred or ability to obtain
- USDA accreditation preferred or ability to obtain
- Experience with general medicine and basic surgery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
