Information Network Associates Inc. (INA) is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Due Diligence Analyst to conduct comprehensive background research and due diligence investigations involving individuals and organizations.
The Due Diligence Analyst will utilize public records social media online databases and other open-source intelligence (OSINT) resources to identify and evaluate information relevant to client needs. The successful candidate will analyze research findings identify potential risks or discrepancies and prepare clear accurate and well-supported reports.
This position is ideal for an experienced online researcher who is skilled at locating information evaluating sources connecting details across multiple data points and presenting findings in a concise and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive background screenings and due diligence research on individuals organizations vendors business partners and other subjects as assigned.
- Research criminal history social media activity public records and other relevant open-source information.
- Utilize public records subscription databases online research tools and other resources to gather and verify information.
- Analyze research findings to identify potential risks discrepancies adverse information or other relevant issues.
- Evaluate the reliability and relevance of information obtained from multiple sources.
- Prepare clear concise accurate and professional written reports summarizing research findings.
- Maintain accurate and current information within internal databases.
- Handle personal confidential and sensitive information securely and responsibly.
- Conduct research in accordance with applicable laws regulations ethical standards client requirement and company policies including applicable requirements under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Utilize computer-based translation tools when researching foreign-language sources.
Experience Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or higher in Criminal Justice Business Administration Information Technology Intelligence Studies or related field preferred.
- Certified Background Screening Professional (CBSP) certification preferred.
- FCRA certification preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience conducting social media internet open-source or similar investigative research preferred.
- Strong research analytical and critical-thinking skill required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or relevant information within large amounts of data required.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Working Knowledge of background screening processes and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with online research tools public-record resources databases and background screening software.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to pass INAs pre-employment background check including drug screening and criminal history evaluation is required.
