Where is the work:

Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office.

Trane in Georgia is hiring a Ductless Technical Specialist to join our this role you will work closely with contractor customers and internal teams to support the proper installation startup commissioning and ongoing success of Trane VRF and ductless products.

What you will do
  • Support the ongoing success of VRF and ductless products after the sale.

  • Coach and train sales teams and customers on product sales application and customer support best practices.

  • Provide field training and technical support for the installation application startup and troubleshooting of VRF and ductless systems.

  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders across multiple projects and maintain detailed reports.

  • Build consultative relationships with building owners contractors Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (METUS) and Trane partners.

  • Represent your area or region in the Mitsubishi DSG program.

  • Monitor post-installation processes and performance metrics to improve customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

  • Partner with contractor customers and internal teams to ensure proper installation startup and commissioning of products.

  • Troubleshoot product issues investigate customer concerns recommend corrective actions and help drive resolution.

  • Administer warranty processes and support other ductless business activities following installation.

What you will bring
  • Bachelors degree with 2 years of commercial HVAC experience or 5 years of commercial HVAC experience in lieu of a degree.

  • VRF experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of construction disciplines including mechanical electrical and controls preferred.

  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills required.

  • Ability to travel daily with up to 30% overnight travel.

  • Valid drivers license held for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations including but not limited to DUI hit and run license suspension reckless or careless driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions within the previous 3 years.
