Job Summary
Observe gaming and non-gaming activity by monitoring electronic surveillanceÂ
equipment to ensure compliance with applicable laws procedures regulations and rulesÂ
and protect company assets from illegal or questionable activities. Responsible for the efficient operations of the surveillance department during assigned shift. Protect company assets by observing gaming and non-gaming activities to ensure safety integrity security and company policies and procedures are followed.
- Observe document and report any variances to the company internal controlsÂ
- money handling activity and state gaming regulations.Â
- Complete daily audits of department activity duty logs and cooperate with departments during investigations.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of all table games and gaming functions.
- Â Respond immediately to any activities that appear unusual or suspicious.Â
- Â Detect cheating theft embezzlement illegal activities and procedure/policyÂ
violations in all areas of responsibility - Prepare reports and/or verbalize the occurrence of unusual activities to theÂ
Surveillance Manager Director and/or department heads as required. - Compile and maintain evidence to assist the property or BGC in any legal actionsÂ
- employment matters and/or arbitration/grievance proceedings that may arise.
-  Know how to operate all equipment used by the Surveillance Department and utilize them to their fullest capacity.
-  Review coverage completed by agents and have additional coverage added when needed.
- Â Assign task to agents to agents on a daily basis when needed.
- Â Train coach discipline supervise and handle scheduling of department employees.
- Â Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Â Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Three (3) years of practical surveillance experience and previous supervisoryÂ
experienced preferred. - Knowledge of CCTV system all casino games working knowledge of Microsoft office programs such as excel and Word.Â
-  Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
- Â Must be an effective communicator and able to maintain proper order in escalatedÂ
- situations.Â
- Must be able to sit and remain alert for extended periods of time.
