Job Summary
SUMMARY
Delivers vehicles to customers dealerships and other locations as directed by DT Driver Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
âDeliver vehicles to customers dealerships and other locations in a safe and efficient manner
âInsures customer satisfaction by communicating to DT Driver Coordinator and customers as appropriate to update information concerning delivery schedule
âComplies with the Modern Automotive Networkâs 29 hour work week work restriction
âComplies with Modern Automotive Networkâs 24 hour driving restriction that limits all DT Drivers to driving 10 hours or less within any 24 hour period
âSubmits hours worked to DT Driver Coordinator on a weekly basis as appropriate
âSubmits expense receipts/reports accurately and timely
âMaintains professional appearance
âOther duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
âEntry level position
âGood driving record
âHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
âAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
âAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
âAbility to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
âAbility to communicate effectively and efficiently with co-workers customers DT Driver Coordinator and personnel from other Modern Dealerships.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
âAbility to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
âAbility to analyze gather and summarize work hour information into a concise format for payroll processing at your dealership
REASONING ABILITY
âAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
âAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
âAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
