DSP Part Time & PRN

Join LIFE Inc. - Goldsboro as aDirect Support Professional (DSP) Part Time & PRN in Wilson this vital role you will provide compassionate and comprehensive support to clients assisting them with daily living activities to enhance their independence and quality of life. This position offers a competitive wage of $17.50 per hour paid bi-weekly with flexible part-time 3rd shift and as-needed (PRN) scheduling options.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Possession of a valid North Carolina Drivers License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Provide assistance and supervision to clients with personal care tasks such as dressing bathing and toileting.
• Support clients during meal times by encouraging the use of family-style dining to promote social interaction.
• Assist clients in managing household responsibilities including clothing care cleaning and yard maintenance.
• Help clients prepare meals and nutritional supplements ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and monitor clients to prevent errors.
• Implement prescribed diet plans and assist clients in using adaptive equipment as needed.
• Carry out established behavior programs collect data and adhere to safety protocols consistently.
• Support clients in active treatments including training objectives data recording and achieving service goals.
• Collaborate effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team communicating client information as directed by supervisors.
• Transport clients safely in company vehicles when required.
• Provide supervision and assistance during community outings and participation in school or day programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support client well being and organizational goals.
