We are seeking a reliable fun and outgoing Driver to join our team at a large senior living community in The Montevista at Coronado. Come join a team of dedicated smart and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve.

Part-time Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm.

Job Description

As a member of the Life Enrichment team your goal each day is to serve the residents of our community in a meaningful and cheerful way. Customer services is a top priority as we work to bring fun and fulfillment to their lives. If you enjoy working in a small team interacting with people (especially seniors) and driving then this is the job for you! Will also be responsible to assist with activities with residents as part of the Life Enrichment Department. Details below.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport senior residents to doctors appointments and other places in a timely and disciplined manner.
• Load and unload wheelchairs and walkers from vehicle. Help residents into car or non-CDL bus and help residents out to their appointment.
• Plan and research driving routes for scenic drives. Narrate during the drive pointing out historic landmarks and vocalizingfun facts and history throughout the drive.
• Carry out complete pre-trip inspection of vehicle to be used. Keep vehicles clean and vacuumed. Maintain drivers with road traffic law enforcement agency to all safety requirements.
• Assist in facilitation of other activities programs as need and as directed by the Life Enrichment Director.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license.
• Driving experience with company vehicle or company bus would be preferred.
• Desire to serve and help others
• clean background and drug free lifestyle
• Stellar teamwork skills
• Ability to plan and communicate in both written and spoken English
