Driver

We have an immediate opening for a Driver to join our team in Santa Clara CA.

Purpose:The driver is responsible for safely operating delivery vans/trucks over established routes to deliver or pick-up customer-related products materials and/or supplies.

Essential Responsibilities:
Drives company vehicles to deliver and/or pickup customer products parts materials supplies and tools
Loads and unloads trucks by hand or by use of forklift or dolly
Maintains mileage log for fuel cost analysis
Verifies delivery load against shipping documents and obtains customer signature on packing slip for proof of delivery/pick-up

Specific Expectations:
Delivers customer products before 4:00 pm daily
Certifies as Fork Lift Driver and recertifies every three years
Maintains valid state driver license and at least minimum required accident insurance
Obeys all traffic signs local laws and regulations in while operating company vehicle

Education:
High school diploma general education degree (GED) or equivalent
3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid California Drivers License and current auto insurance required
