Job Summary
Marys Woods is looking for an experienced CDL Driver with exceptional communication and customer service skills to support our Transportation team. As a Driver you will need to have solid working knowledge of the Portland Metro Area and enjoy interacting with seniors. You will be transporting residents in our various vehicles ranging from a car to a bus for regularly scheduled trips medical appointments and events. You will need to be comfortable with assisting residents with boarding seating loading unloading packages and wheelchair accessibility protocols.
Marys Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living assisted living memory care and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. Below are some of the core responsibilities experience and skills needed to be successful:
- Must have a solid working knowledge of Clackamas Multnomahand Washington county roads/addresses
- Demonstratebasic understanding of auto mechanics key fob entriesand computer programmed key fob operation
- Transport residents on shopping/medical trips group events cultural eventsand other appointments as needed
- Monitor minor vehicle maintenance gas usage mileage log oil changes and cleaning vehicles inside and out
- Must attend and participate in orientation training educational activities and in-services as required
- Understand complywith and promoteall rules regarding resident rights
- Promotepositive relationships with residents visitors and regulators
- Demonstrate the ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid current CDL with bus endorsement
- Must possess an Oregon Drivers License and a safe driving record for a minimum of the previous three years
- Knowledge/Certification in First Aid and CPR

Schedule: This is a full time position scheduled to work Thursday to Sunday. Hours may vary depending on departmental needs with availability to work nights weekends and holidays required.
Pay:From $19.00 per hour
The starting wagedependson experience certification and education.
