Job Summary
Join NOV in Casper WY as a Drill Bit Repair Technician supporting our ReedHycalog business unit. This is a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on mechanical skills to enter or grow in the energy sector. Youll work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment performing essential repair and maintenance on drill bits. Training is provided and opportunities for advancement are available.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the repair and maintenance of drill bits used in energy operations.
- Assist with production processes and equipment servicing.
- Follow safety and quality standards at all times.
Job Duties:
- Use off-hand die grinders blast equipment and pressure washers to clean and prep parts.
- Assist senior technicians with repairs and servicing procedures.
- Operate OD or centerless grinders to finish surfaces.
- Apply paint and inspect nozzle fit and alignment.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate service records.
- Follow all safety protocols and work instructions.
Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical repair mechanical assembly or equipment repair preferred.
- Basic knowledge of power tools grinders and shop equipment
- Flexibility to work shifts as assigned (may include evenings/weekends)
