Become a Key Player as a Drafter/Designer

You will produce and revise technical drawings and support documents that enable engineering and manufacturing teams to build mechanical electrical and electronic components. Your work ensures accurate compliant technical data packages that support downstream manufacturing and review. This is an onsite role in Irvine CA.

Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team

• Create new 2D and 3D CAD drawings and revise existing mechanical electrical and electronic component documents
• Apply standard drafting procedures and techniques to produce technical data packages
• Use CAD tools and office software to prepare supporting documentation
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional team members to clarify design intent and resolve issues
• Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy on repetitive tasks

Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of related drafting experience or training
• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
• Proficiency with CAD concepts; prior SolidWorks experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic math and apply dimensioning/tolerancing standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail
• Must meet U.S. export compliance and U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility (must be a US Citizen)

Heres What Else Might Help You Out

• Post-high-school coursework in mechanical electrical or electronic drafting
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM AutoCAD Visio Excel and Word

Pay Range

$26.60- $30.00/hour
