Job Description
As a Drafter you will be responsible for NOV Hydra Rigs drafting needs working closely with engineers and designers. Your primary task will be to transform red lines or sketches into precise manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. This role is based in Fort Worth Texas and requires timely completion of drafting tasks as per project schedules.

Responsibilities
Create detailed manufacturing drawings from red lines or sketches provided by engineers/designers.
Utilize SolidWorks software to produce accurate and precise technical drawings.
Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and NOVs quality requirements.
Collaborate with the engineering team to understand design intent and incorporate feedback.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for each drafting project.
Adhere to project timelines and communicate any potential delays or issues promptly.
Assist in the development of standard drafting procedures and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in drafting technology and software.
Support other drafting-related tasks as assigned by the engineering or design leads.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Working knowledge of SolidWorks is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a drafting role preferably in the oil and gas industry.
High School Diploma or GED Required
Degree/Diploma in drafting engineering or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
Good communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and Word.
Familiarity with other CAD software is an advantage.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
