GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION
TheDonor MarketingCoordinatorsupportsmultichannelfundraisingeffortsin support ofAFSCs missionand work. This positioncoordinates with colleagues and consultants to ensure timely implementation of plans. They also write and edit fundraising copy produce emails and donor stewardship articles update digital fundraising assets and pull reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- plans toacquireandretain individual donors. Fulfill assignments such asproducingemails creatingdonation formspostingweb assetsdevelopingcontentandproofreading.
- Serve asaliaisontoourdirect marketing consultants production team. Work collaboratively to producedigital and direct mailcampaigns.
- Writeandedita variety offundraising content. Routeart and copy throughreview andapproval ensuredeadlines are met andmaintainhigh standardsof quality.
- Produce web articles and print pieces to engage and steward development ofpublications such as the Annual Reportand Quaker Action collaboratively with theDevelopmentDonor Servicesand Leadership Giftsteamsondonor teleconference callsspecial mailings and otherefforts to engage donors.
- Manage special projects. Examples includefundraising pilotsonnew platformsandimplementation ofstrategies geared towardmonthly and mid-level donors.
- Monitor fundraising results. Pull fundraising and contribution reports when assigned. Createreportsmonitoringprogress towardMarketing &Communicationsobjectives and key results.
- Ensure that fundraising efforts adhere to the data hygiene security and other procedures that govern AFSCs use of CRMs. Build lists for e-appeals and other fundraisingand stewardshipmessages applying current protocols and best practices.
- Submit invoices toFinanceDepartment andconfirm payments.
- Stay current with fundraising best practices. Participate in peer groups andutilizeexternal resources.
- Work collaborativelywith fundraisingand inmeetings andconference calls and attend periodicin-persongatherings ofAdvancement staff and other teams.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
- Operates safely in all conditions and follows policies and procedures.
- Support the Communications Department with other duties and projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY / MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in related field required. Bachelors preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience one year in implementing communications or fundraising engagement efforts and one year of experience demonstrating strong writing and / or editing skills required.
- Candidates with nonprofit experience preferred.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and to travel as needed.
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment.
- Experience with standard Microsoft Office and related technology.
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
- Understanding of and commitment to the principles concerns and considerations of AFSC in regard to issues of race class nationality religion age gender and sexual orientation and disabilities. Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with diverse staff.

COMPENSATION
The AFSC offers a competitive Total Rewards package. This position is Salary Family: Development Job Code Development Coordinator 1. Salary Family Range $54500 - $77740.
