Vitalant is seeking a Lead Phlebotomist dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalants donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable convenient and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers most days youll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days youll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

- Function as an operational lead supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes and providing coaching when needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site
- Coordinate the set up and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
- Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
- Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians providing input for employee performance evaluations.
- Drive company vehicles including vans buses to drive sites
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to complete and pass CDL license program
- Ability to travel as required
- Successful completion of supervisory training program within six months
- Two years phlebotomy experience preferred
