Overview:
Were looking fora strategic and high-performing intern tojoin ourCommunications and Marketingteam which is charged with supporting the goals of the business andforraising our profile through social media earned media events paid digital campaigns event sponsorships and a lot all yourwork will elevate howViacontributes toa collaborative patent licensing ecosystemthat will furtheraccelerate technology adoptionacross various devices and categories.
Reporting directly to ViasHead of Communications and Marketing this role will:
Work with the team to developinternal and externalcomms and marketingstrategies.
Support majorViaevents throughout the year.
Develop social media content and strategies to further boost Viasvisibility online
Support marketing campaigns for specific Via programs
Contribute to earned media efforts within the organization and support engagement with members of the media
Support the development of presentations and other communications material
Conduct research as needed in support of Viascommunications and marketing initiatives and events
Qualifications:
Demonstrated project management skills ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong ability to follow direction whileidentifyingopportunities fornew ideasand solutions
Strong attention to detailand deadlines
Comfort working with senior executives
Ability tofacilitatecross functional projects across multiple stakeholders
Ability to work independently withself-awarenessto know when to ask for guidance from team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create and delivercompellingpresentations
Moderate experience with all MS Office applications
Knowledge and passionofeventmanagementa plus
Familiarity with Canva or other design programs strongly preferred
Interest in and willingness to experiment with new toolsand technologiesto generate faster and better outcomes for the teamand organization

Eligibility:
Working towards an undergrad degree or MBA; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday Friday for 6 months between September 2026- December 2026.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is$33-43//hrand can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
