Dog Friendly Housekeeper

Position: Full-Time or Part-Time Live-Out Housekeeper (Flexible Schedule)
Schedule: Flexible Family is open to both part-time and full-time candidates. Schedule can be discussed based on the right candidates availability.
Salary: $30$35 per hour depending on experience
Start Date: August 24 2026

A warm and welcoming family in Vienna Virginia is seeking a reliable proactive and experienced Housekeeper to help maintain their busy household. The family has three children (ages 16 14 and 12) and values someone who takes pride in keeping a home clean organized and running efficiently.

The family already has someone who handles the cooking so this role is focused on housekeeping laundry household organization and helping coordinate the day-to-day needs of the home. They are flexible on both schedule and hours and are looking for the right long-term fit.

The family also spends their summers in Massachusetts. While travel is not required it would be a plus if the candidate is interested in accompanying them during the summer months.

Children: Three (ages 16 14 and 12)
Pets: Family dog

• Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the home
• Complete all household laundry including washing folding ironing and putting clothing away
• Keep household supplies organized and notify the family when items need to be replenished
• Meet and oversee repair technicians vendors and service providers as needed
• Help maintain an organized tidy and well-functioning household
• Provide dog care and pet sitting while the family travels
• Assist with other household tasks as needed to support the familys daily routine

The ideal candidate is dependable detail-oriented and takes initiative without needing constant direction. They enjoy creating a clean organized home and are comfortable working independently while communicating effectively with the family.

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a private home
• Excellent verifiable references

• Interest in occasional summer travel to Massachusetts is a plus but not required
