Job Summary
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Document Scanning Clerk position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be on-site for a duration of 2-4 weeks.
Summary
The Document Scanning Clerk will be responsible for scanning saving and organizing a large volume of paper documents for a consulting firm that works with medical facilities on billing issues.
Job Description:
- Scan paper documents using an office scanner
- Save and name digital files accurately so they are easy to find later
- Keep documents organized before and after scanning
- Handle all materials with strict confidentiality
- Sign a confidentiality form before beginning the assignment
- Start September 30 for a 2 to 4 week assignment depending on hours worked
- Choose part-time or full-time hours
A successful Document Scanning Clerk has strong attention to detail basic computer skills and comfort using a scanner. Important qualifications include reliability accuracy when naming and saving files the ability to start September 30 and a willingness to sign a confidentiality form since the documents are medical related. Prior data entry records management or medical office experience is helpful but not required.
