Your Impact as a Physical Therapist

As part of our rehabilitation team youll play a critical role in helping patients improve movement reduce pain and restore functional independence.

What Youll Do
Patient Evaluations & Treatment Planning
  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
  • Review medical history diagnostic findings and functional limitations
  • Develop customized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical needs
Rehabilitation & Therapeutic Care
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions including:
    • Therapeutic exercises
    • Manual therapy techniques
    • Mobility and gait training
    • Ultrasound and electrical stimulation
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize outcomes
Patient Education & Support
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
  • Provide guidance on injury prevention and long-term wellness
  • Encourage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process
Team Collaboration
  • Partner with physicians nurses PTAs and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Support a collaborative and patient-focused care environment



Requirements

Youre empathetic clinically skilled and committed to helping patients regain independence and confidence.

Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
  • Active Michigan Physical Therapist license
  • Successful completion of the NPTE
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and evidence-based care
  • Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt care plans based on patient progress and goals
  • Physical ability to assist patients and safely perform mobility support tasks
