Full-Time Hourly $18.50 - $23.50 per Hour

• Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• 1-2 Saturdays per month 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Westside Medical Supply is seeking a compassionate customer-focused DME Solutions Consultant to join our growing this role you will help patients caregivers and healthcare professionals find the durable medical equipment and services that best meet their needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Help patients and caregivers select appropriate medical equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate products and explain features benefits and proper use.
• Identify opportunities to recommend complementary products that enhance patient outcomes.
• Build strong relationships through outstanding customer service.

• Answer questions regarding equipment availability insurance coverage and reimbursement requirements.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect required documentation.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare regulations.
• Stay informed on Medicare Medicaid commercial insurance and accreditation requirements.

• Enter customer information orders and documentation accurately.
• Prepare delivery paperwork billing documentation and supporting records.
• Coordinate with Billing Delivery Technicians and Sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Process payments co-pays deductibles and private-pay transactions.
• Maintain detailed customer account records and notes.

• Assist with showroom organization merchandising and inventory replenishment.
• Participate in inventory counts and inventory management activities.
• Attend department meetings training sessions and company events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) healthcare intake insurance verification medical billing or healthcare customer service.
• Knowledge of medical terminology insurance authorization processes and payer guidelines.
• Experience with Brightree Nymbl Housecall Pro or similar healthcare software platforms.
