Divisional Safety Manager

SRM Concrete is seeking an experienced Division Safety Manager to lead and execute safety initiatives across the DallasFort Worth metroplex partnering closely with operations and senior safety leadership to uphold company-wide safety standards. This role serves as the primary safety resource for regional leadership ensuring compliance with all federal state and local regulations driving risk mitigation efforts conducting audits and investigations and delivering hands-on training and coaching to plant and field teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive field-focused leader with strong regulatory knowledge and a proven ability to foster a positive best-in-class safety culture in industrial or construction environments throughout the DFW Responsibilities:Partner closely with the Chief Safety Officer on strategic planning policy development and high-level incident mentor and manage a team of regional Safety Managers fostering their professional growth and ensuring consistency in safety program implement and refine corporate safety policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and regulatory enterprise-wide compliance with all applicable FMCSA OSHA and MSHA senior oversight for all safety audits and lead investigations into significant incidents identifying root causes and implementing corrective safety metrics and incident data to identify trends measure performance and develop proactive risk-reduction as the primary safety consultant for large commercial projects collaborating with operations to manage complex safety with executive leadership to champion a culture where safety is a core value and integral to all frequently to various regions and job sites to provide leadership support and hands-on Qualifications & Experience:OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 -level knowledge of and experience with FMCSA and OSHA verifiable experience managing safety on large commercial construction track record of conducting and leading high-level safety audits and incident experience in a leadership role managing a team of safety have the ability and willingness to travel frequently to project sites and regional leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the Qualifications (Bonus):Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related safety experience in the ready-mix concrete or construction materials Safety Professional (CSP) or other advanced safety Requirements:Capable of conducting inspections at active concrete plants mines and construction with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a to lift up to 50 pounds at a us:SRM strives to be the largest most profitable construction material company in the country while maintaining a best-in-class 5 Principles of Service:Safety Quality Kindness Cleanliness Go-GetterWhy Join Us Our commitment to our team includes:Growth:Opportunities for advancement in a rapidly growing Daily:Enjoy work-life balance with daily home Compensation: Competitive salary and company Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package including low-cost medical dental vision STD LTD and life insurance paid holidays PTO and vacation programs 401k with $100 match/week family days and more!Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen SRMs pre-employment physical and consent to background checks including Clearinghouse and MVR checks.
