THE ROLE:
The Division Order Analyst owns the full division order lifecycle from interpreting title opinions and building interest decks through royalty owner relations and well proposals working closely with landmen operations and accounting to ensure accurate timely title curative and interest distribution.
1) Title & Division Order Administration
  • Interpret title opinions to establish ownership of record and identify curative requirements.
  • Draft issue and track division and transfer orders for new and existing wells.
  • Build maintain and audit working interest (WI) and net revenue interest (NRI) decks across all Haynesville wells; perform decimal calculations and resolve interest discrepancies.
  • Coordinate title curative with landmen attorneys and outside counsel.
2) Royalty Owner Relations
  • Serve as primary contact for owner inquiries on payments ownership and check detail.
  • Process ownership changes assignments estate transfers trusts name/address updates keep owner records current.
  • Resolve payment disputes and suspense issues in coordination with revenue accounting.
  • Well Proposals & Cash Calls
  • Prepare and distribute well proposals (AFEs) to WI partners per applicable operating agreements; track consenting and non-consenting elections.
  • Issue and track cash calls and follow up on outstanding obligations with joint interest billing; keep proposal election and cash call records organized.
3) General Land Support
  • Support lease unit and well file maintenance and data entry in land and accounting systems.
  • Help ensure operational and regulatory compliance related to ownership and payment obligations.
Qualifications
  • Required: 2 years of oil & gas division order experience (Haynesville or other shale a plus); working knowledge of O&G title mineral ownership and land records; proficiency building and auditing WI/NRI decks with strong decimal accuracy; royalty owner relations and ownership transfers; strong written and verbal communication; Microsoft Excel and standard land/accounting software; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Preferred: Bachelor s in Business Petroleum Land Management or related field (or equivalent experience); WolfePak experience; familiarity with Louisiana mineral law and Haynesville unitization; prior small-department cross-functional experience.
