About the Role
As a District Senior Human Resources Analyst you will provide advanced-level HR support and consultation to leadership managers and employees within assigned districts. This role involves delivering expert guidance in key HR areas including:
Classification and compensation
Recruitment and staffing
Employee relations
Performance management
Policy interpretation
HR compliance and best practices
You will play a central role in driving data-informed decisions resolving complex HR issues and fostering a positive equitable workplace culture aligned with VDHs mission and workforce goals.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum KSAs:
Considerable knowledge of human resources principles practices and employment laws in the areas of classification and compensation recruitment employee relations and performance management.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate workforce data interpret policies develop recommendations and ensure consistent applications of policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate complex HR concepts clearly and professionally to leadership managers and employees.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work independently.
Skill in consulting problem-solving conflict resolution and providing customer-focused HR services.
Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Considerations

Progressive experience/training in Human Resources Business or related field
Working knowledge of Human Resource policies & procedures
Knowledge of state benefit and recruitment systems (Cardinal & PageUp);
Working knowledge of DHRM Human Resource policies & procedures
